Light yellow, gem-quality, transparent sapphire crystal from Sri Lanka. The crystal form is extremely sharp. Unlike most sapphire crystals, this has a more ruby-like barrel shape. This was part of a parcel I rescued from the heat treaters and cutters. 6 carats. 1.1 x 0.7 x 0.6 cm.
