Sharp matrix specimen from the 2008 find. The spessartine crystal is gemmy and has excellent color. These specimens were very expensive at Tucson in 2008; the find proved to be much larger than originally thought and I was able to purchase this at a very reasonable price. Despite the number of specimens now available, good matrix specimens remain uncommon. The spessartine measures 1 cm; total size is 2.6 x 2.4 x 1.5 cm.
