Purveyors of Fine Specimens, Gem Crystals, And Rare Gemstones

Excellent cabinet specimen of this rare toumaline from the type locality.  The Worldwide Mineral label dates the specimen to August 1962 and also has a handwritten summary of the XRD analysis on the reverse.  The buergerite crystals measure to 7 mm and have sharp terminations and fine luster.  A few crystals show minor damage under 10x magnification.  The large crystal at the top right is undamaged - the lighter portion is a natural growth of hyalite.  10.5 x 6.1 x 1.9 cm.
