Sharp single crystal of azurite on matrix. The crystal is partially altered to malachite which provides a great contrast to the excellent blue color. Comes with two labels - one from Hugh Ford and another from Dr. Wilhelm Schmidt in Kamen, Germany, which dates the specimen to at least 1941. Schmidt was a well-known dealer in Tsumeb minerals.
