Figured in The Mineralogical Record, Vol. 42, No. 4., pg. 321, Figure 27
Fluorescent; Ex. Ward's Natural Science (with label)

An incredibly fine specimen from this classic Eastern locality, this features well-crystallized, complex brucite crystals. The color is a fine, pale apple green and the crystals are translucent. The lamellar structure is clearly visible in the photos. The brucite fluoresces an intense greenish-blue

Brucite usually forms in foliated masses or platy aggregates. It also has perfect cleavage on {0001}, which makes the undamaged nature of this specimen unusual. For more information on this locality , see the Mindat locality page. For more information on brucite, see the Mindat species page. 8.7 x 4.0 x 3.0 cm.
