Fine, facet quality elbaite crystal with a sharp termination. No damage, with one small spot of natural roughness on the termination. 5.4 x 0.6 x 0.4 cm.
From the type locality, a finely terminated, translucent 2.9 cm crystal of pale blue-green afghanite. Highly fluorescent. Sawn bottom. 6.6 x 5.7 x 4.6 cm.
A large, superb, chatoyant crystal of indicolite. This cabinet-sized specimen would probably yield several large cat's-eye gems if cut. 10.3 x 2.2 x 2.2 cm.
Small, gemmy orange spessartine crystals sit on a white cleavelandite matrix. The spessartine measures to 4 mm; I count at least ten crystals visible without magnification. The original Dudley Blauwet label narrows the locality to Idiya. The total size of the specimen is 5.1 x 3.1 x 2.7 cm.
Rich blue, large gem crystal with attached schorl. The aqua has an interesting etched termination and body, with superb color and clarity for the locality. The specimen is naturally contacted on the reverse and otherwise undamaged. 7.7 x 6.1 x 5.4 cm.
Excellent, "cockscomb" descloizite specimen. The crystals measure to about 2.5 cm and have a nice reddish-brown color with a matte luster. A suprisingly aesthetic specimen for a rather unattractive species. Ex. Louis Zara. 7.8 x 6.9 x 2.9 cm.
A very nice specimen of dioptase with planchèite from Kaokoland, Namibia. The planchèite is an lovely turquoise color, and the dioptase is lustrous and emerald green. The dioptase crystals measure to 9 mm. 6.5 x 5.0 x 4.0 cm.
Fine older specimen of blocky, deep blue azurite. The specimen is almost completely azurite, with one small piece of matrix visible. Undamaged. 8.2 x 5.9 x 3.8 cm.
Excellent miniature of lustrous black hausmannite with brownish-orange andradite. The hausmannite crystals are undamaged. 4.0 x 2.7 x 2.5 cm.
