Ex. Federico Ahlfeld Collection
An exceptional specimen of large, lustrous, and translucent cassiterite crystals nestled in a bed of ankerite. It features a 1.4 cm cyclic twin which is perfectly centered. The large crystal to the left of it is relatively isolated, unusually elongated and stands out nicely from the matrix. Specimens from this location were mined in the mid-1950's. The largest crystal is 2 cm. There is one small point of contact/damage on the large crystal, as shown in the fourth photo. 11.7 x 8.5 x 5.2 cm.
