Brazil065 - Fluorapatite with Bertrandite and Quartz - Golconda Pegmatite, Golconda District, Governador Valadares, Doce valley, Minas Gerais, Southeast Region, Brazil

The color of the crystals is superb, reminding me of the finest from the Pulsifer Quarry in Maine. The main face features two doubly-terminated crystals to 1.3 cm along with a smaller, unterminated crystal. Both main crystals have a partial coating of massive quartz. The color is distinctly zoned and lighter towards one end. Minor bertrandite is also present. 2.6 x 2.6 x 2.1 cm.
