Bulg023 - Galena on Quartz - Krushev Dol Mine, Madan, Rhodope Mts, Plovdiv Oblast, Bulgaria

This large cabinet specimen features an unusual cluster of lustrous, recrystallized galena. The cluster sits on a bed of milky quartz crystals, with scattered additional galena. Minimal damage to the quartz. An interesting, older Bulgarian specimen originally in a mining engineer's personal collection. 17.5 x 14 x 7 cm.
