Older, classic New England specimen by way of Schortmann's Minerals and the Albert Sebela collection. The greyish-blue stocky crystals are imbedded in a quartz matrix and measure to about 1.5 cm. Unlike most cordierite specimens from this locality, the crystals are a bluish-grey in color (most are brown to olive-brown.) Specimens like this very rarely come on the market. Accompanied by labels from Schortmann's minerals and Larry Conklin. 6.2 x 5.7 x 3.7 cm.
