EMR-G190 - Sphalerite and Chalcopyrite - Wolf Mine, Herdorf, Siegerland, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

Excellent cabinet specimen of finely crystallized sphalerite and chalcopyrite on quartz. The lustrous sphalerite measures to about 3 mm. Sphalerite is relatively rare from the Wolf Mine and only occurred in the deeper levels of the mine. From my personal collection. 12.6 x 6.8 x 3.1 cm.
