EMR-G250 - Proustite on Quartz - Freiberg District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany

Extremely rich specimen of lustrous, ruby-red, transparent proustite crystals to about 1.5 mm on quartz. The proustite is very well-crystallized and is beautiful under magnification. The specimen also is quite nice without magnification - the fine color of the proustite is readily apparent. From my personal collection. 8.4 x 4.2 x 3.5 cm.
