EMR-G261 - Calcite on Quartz - Harz Mts, Lower Saxony, Germany

White dogtooth calcite to about 8 mm grow preferentially on colorless quartz on this unusual cabinet specimen. Some of the calcite is doubly-terminated and there are scattered damaged crystals, especially on the reverse side. The calcite slightly fluoresces pink under LW UV. Ex.
