Mex026 - Pyrargyrite, Calcite and Quartz - Guanajuato, Mun. de Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico

Rich specimen of dark pyrargyrite from this famous mining area in Mexico. The pyrargyrite measures to about 6 mm and is contrasted nicely by clear calcite and quartz crystals. This specimen has not been chemically cleaned by me so as to preserve the calcite. 7.6 x 6.0 x 3.7 cm.
