Mex034 - Ludlamite - San Antonio Mine, East Camp, Santa Eulalia District, Mun. de Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua, Mexico

A superb thumbnail, this specimen has deep green, gemmy crystals of ludlamite to 6 mm. Some contacting on the sides, but the display face is undamaged. 2.5 x 2.0 x 1.5 cm.

Less well-known than the Huanuni or Lemhi, Idaho localities, the San Antonio Mine produced fine ludlamite specimens primarily in the 1970's and early 1980's. For more information on this locality, please see its Mindat Page.
