PA007 - Beryl var. Aquamarine on Cleavelandite - Dassu, Skardu District, Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan (Northern Areas), Pakistan

Beautiful, medium-blue aquamarine crystal measuring 5.0 x 3.5 cm on a cleavelandite matrix. The crystal has sharply defined faces and superb luster. Unusual for the area, the crystal form is dominated by the pinacoid, causing it to have an almost tabular appearance. As seen in the photos, there is a shallow, small conchoidal fracture on the right side. 6.0 x 5.4 x 3.3 cm.
