Paki040 - Anatase and Quartz - Kharan, Kharan District, Balochistan, Pakistan

Fine miniature of lustrous, steel-gray anatase on matrix with quartz. The main anatase crystal measures 1.2 cm and is doubly-terminated. It also has a smaller, parallel-growth crystal on its reverse. The secondary crystals are 9 mm and 5 mm. Interestingly, one crystal has flat terminations while the other two are bipyramidal. Undamaged and much better in person - it was difficult to photograph due to the high contrast between the anatase and the matrix. 4.7 x 4.7 x 3.1 cm.
