Afg009 - Spodumene on Quartz - Mawi Pegmatite, Laghman Province, Afghanistan

Attractive specimen of transparent, light green spodumene crystals on quartz. The green color of the spodumene is natural - I have had this specimen for many years and the color has not faded. The spodumene crystals measure to 3.3 cm and are undamaged; one has a sharp chisel termination while the other has a more complex, slightly etched termination. Some bruising to the quartz crystals. Fluorescent. 9.3 x 7.8 x 6.1 cm.
