Africa083 - Cuprian Aragonite - Tsumeb, Namibia

An aesthetic specimen of pale green, translucent cuprian aragonite with attached sub-millimeter rhombs of chocolate-brown smithsonite.  A fine, undamaged uncommon specimen from Tsumeb.  According to Gebhard (Tsumeb II, page 150), the cuprian variety of aragonite was found in several areas of the mine.  No damage.  5.5 x 4.1 x 2.0 cm.
