Africa106 - Smithsonite and Willemite - Berg Aukas, Grootfontein District, Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia

Good specimen of pale yellow smithsonite and salmon-colored willemite from Berg Aukas. The smithsonite has the "wheat sheaf" crystal form common from this locality, some of which are doubly-terminated, and measures to 2.6 cm. The willemite is fluorescent. Some minor damage on the periphery, but the main crystals are fine. Better in person - it was difficult to photograph due to the low contrast of the smithsonite crystals. 6.2 x 5.1 x 2.2 cm.
