Bulg015 - Chalcopyrite and Calcite - Mogilata Mine, Deveti Septemvri Complex, Madan, Rhodope Mts, Plovdiv Oblast, Bulgaria

Aesthetic grouping of large, brassy chalcopyrite crystals and slightly pink calcite. The chalcopyrite measures to about 2.5 cm on edge. Some minor galena is present on the bottom of the specimen. The calcite has some edgewear and the reverse side is contacted where it was attached to matrix, otherwise in good condition. 7.3 x 5.9 x 5.6 cm.
