China040 - Sphalerite on Quartz - Kangjiawan Pb-Zn-Ag-Au Deposit, Shuikoushan Ore Field, Changning Co., Hengyang Prefecture, Hunan Province, China

Gemmy, orange twinned sphalerite on drusy quartz with some minor, poorly crystallized calcite. The central sphalerite cluster measures 3.2 cm and is undamaged. The calcite fluoresces under both SW and LW UV. There also appears to be some very small, light blue fluorite crystals on the quartz. 10.0 x 5.1 x 4.0 cm.
