Europe121 - Pucherite - Schneeberg District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany

Rich miniature of pucherite, a rare bismuth vanadate, with good coverage on both sides of the specimen. It is probably from the type locality, the Wolfgang Mine in Schneeberg. The crystals are up to about 1.5 mm in size, and have the typical rich reddish-brown color. Excellent under magnification. Ex. Eugene Carmichael collection with label. 6.4 x 4.8 x 2.0 cm.
