USA005 - Wulfenite - Red Cloud Mine, Silver District, Trigo Mts., La Paz Co., Arizona

The Red Cloud Mine has set the standard for wulfenite specimens. This is a superb small cabinet example from this closed locality. The transparent, red-orange crystals are undamaged and measure to 1.4 cm. The matrix is also covered with small drusy wulfenite which are highly lustrous. This specimen, although smaller, is among the highest quality the mine produced, with the most desirable red-orange color. 5.3 x 4.2 x 3.0 cm.
