This fine, undamaged miniature consists of two intergrown pale yellow witherite crystals. The specimen is complete on three sides, with the reverse contacted where it was attached to matrix. The crystals are very translucent and have a fine resinous luster. The witherite shows the typical pseudohexagonal form from this locality; witherite crystalizes in the orthorhombic system. The Minerva No. 1 Mine is known for its excellent specimens of this barium carbonate. Highly fluorescent. 6.2 x 3.8 x 3.2 cm.
