USA050 - Elbaite - Dunton Quarry, Newry, Oxford County, Maine

Excellent, translucent to transparent elbaite crystal from a classic Maine locality. The elbaite exhibits the mint-green color and triangular form typical of the Dunton Quarry. Attached to the crystal is a small amount of white matrix for contrast. An excellent addition to any tourmaline, Maine, or US Classics collection. 4.3 x 2.9 x 2.6 cm.
