An incredibly fine specimen from this classic Eastern locality, this features well-crystallized, complex brucite crystals. The color is a fine, pale apple green and the crystals are translucent. The lamellar structure is clearly visible in the photos. The brucite fluoresces an intense greenish-blue
Brucite usually forms in foliated masses or platy aggregates. It also has perfect cleavage on {0001}, which makes the undamaged nature of this specimen unusual.
