USA130 - Azurite on Malachite - Holbrook Extension, Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona

A nice aesthetic specimen of dark blue azurite on mammilary malachite, from an old miner's collection dating to between 1969 and 1972. The azurite measures to 5.5 mm and is quite gemmy. Contacted on the sides as it appears extracted from a narrow vein; overall, in good shape for its age. 5.5 x 2.9 x 2.5 cm.
