Gem066 - Beryl var. Aquamarine included by Tantalite-Mn - Shigar Valley, Skardu Dist., Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan

This superb, light blue gem crystal of aquamarine has radiating needle inclusions of light reddish brown tantalite-Mn. The termination is modified and frosted, and the crystal is undamaged. As shown in the photos, the crystal is water-clear; text can be read easily through the prism. A terrific miniature of the species. 5.2 x 2.5 x 2.2 cm.
